
Center Valley, PA – September 20, 2025 — Emmy Award–winning journalist and author José Martínez emceed the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley’s Annual Awards Gala on September 19 at the Centennial Conference Center in Center Valley.
The gala, themed “Influencia Latina,” gathered business leaders, elected officials, and community members to recognize the leadership, resilience, and economic impact of Latinos across the Lehigh Valley.

Martínez, a reporter and anchor for WFMZ-TV 69 News and founder of the bilingual publishing imprint VOZ NYC, guided the evening program, introducing honorees, performers, and sponsors. He also highlighted the Chamber’s mission of advocacy, business development, and community engagement, while emphasizing the importance of investing in future Latino leaders.
“This was more than a gala — it was a celebration of the power and influence Latinos bring to our region,” Martínez said. “From community advocates to business innovators, tonight was about honoring the people who continue to uplift and transform the Lehigh Valley.”

The evening also featured cultural performances by the Mamadele Foundation, music by DJ Cap Cee, and a fundraising raffle benefiting the Fé Foundation, which supports Latino students through education and leadership programs.
