Reading, PA – September 21, 2025 — Emmy Award–winning journalist and author José Martínez joined community leaders, entrepreneurs, and advocates at the Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce Gala, held in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The annual gala highlighted the cultural pride, economic contributions, and entrepreneurial spirit of the Latino community in Berks County. “I’m honored to represent my WFMZ family on a night that uplifts our culture, our entrepreneurs, and our community,” Martínez said. “The Berks County Latino Chamber continues to be a driving force for connection, growth, and opportunity — and tonight was proof of the impact we make when we come together.”
The event was part of a month-long series of celebrations across Pennsylvania recognizing the history, achievements, and influence of Latinos nationwide.
