José Martínez to Emcee Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Gala

Center Valley, PA – September 19, 2025 — Emmy Award–winning journalist and author José Martínez will emcee the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley’s Annual Awards Gala this evening at the Centennial Conference Center in Center Valley.

The gala, themed “Influencia Latina,” will bring together hundreds of business leaders, elected officials, and community members to celebrate the growing influence and economic impact of Latinos in the Lehigh Valley.

Martínez, a reporter and anchor for WFMZ-TV 69 News and founder of the bilingual publishing imprint VOZ NYC, will guide the evening program. The event will feature award presentations recognizing outstanding leadership, innovation, and advocacy within the Hispanic community.

“I’m honored to be part of a night that celebrates our stories, our businesses, and our future,” Martínez said ahead of the gala. “Influencia Latina is more than a theme — it’s a reflection of how Latinos continue to shape the cultural and economic fabric of our region.”

The gala program includes cultural performances by the Mamadele Foundation, entertainment by DJ Cap Cee, and a fundraising raffle to benefit the Fé Foundation, which supports Latino students through education and leadership development.
